OK - I pro missed that I am going to be nice today - SO,
Because every body doesn't believe the bible nor believe in GOD. So what's stated in the Bible is not valid for many people in the world. May be Liberals won't believe that Jesus is lord just because it is written in a book. May be they need harder evidence like Jesus showing himself up or showing some powers of lord as said in the Bible.
But at the same time, they understand stuff like quantum physics. That the world and humans are not a creation, but a natural occurrence. That the world is not fair and if there was a god the world should be fair - Every one should be treated equally by a creator god - A good mother would treat all her children equally ha ?
May be they are not satisfied with simple answers - they need complicated answers and believable facts than fairy tales.

Well it is not fair to say that all liberals do not have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Making blanket statements as such does not show Christianity at all. Anyone can believe in the Lord no matter what race or political affiliation they are. It is not like the conservatives are all Christians.

To the woman above....is there a Buddhist bible? They dont even believe in a monotheistic God.
Anyways. I think that this is the same kind of erroneous broad brush stokes that many liberals make! Not all liberals are faithless....actually, many of them are truly guided by their faith especially in matters of caring for the poor. Now, I am not saying I agree with them---but I have seen very good arguments for some of their positions on these issues.
I would caution you that this is the same tactic that they use when they say that all conservatives are WASPs who are only 'for' the rich and want to keep women down by limiting their 'choices'. Be careful, lest you become what you despise....

Liberals have no problem understanding this very simple concept. What they have a problem with is anyone (namely God and His Son Jesus Christ) or anything (namely The Bible) dictating morality to them. Liberals want to be their own gods, and they want to be able to decide what is right and wrong based upon what THEY feel is right or wrong, with no regard to their fellow human beings. They don't want to be accountable to anyone other than themselves, but they expect the rest of the world to conform to their will. There is a word that aptly describes a person who expects the world to revolve around them, and that word is CHILD. BOTTOM LINE: The reason liberals refuse to accept the concept of Christianity is because they don't want to be told what they can and can't do.

Because they want to be liberated from anything and this denys the simple fact which is -Mankind are just God creatuers and our Manual of operation has been already set-
The real issue is that Everyone promotes freedom, but freedom itself is limited capacity because it is just another creature.
Finaly, being liberal when directed correctly it leads to thinking out of the box and there is a thin line between dis-beliefe and creativity.

Some liberals believe the Bible; others don't. You're making a general opinion (very dangerous) based on her beliefs and perceptions. Remember, not everyone believes the Bible literally.

When most of the things in people’s life are going as per their desires they feel that they have major control on their lives, however when suddenly things get out of control and nothing goes as expected the same people start seeking help from GOD. I am sure that any atheist who has been told by a doctor that 99% chances are there that he will die today, then he will turn to GOD an pray to him. However if he gets cured then he will perhaps again turn into an atheist

do you understand what the word lord means. lord does not .does not mean god in the sense the church defines. lord is one chosen by vote or linkage or generation lines. as a king or queers in our France etc. it is the bible or testament that takes the word and puts god into the interpreting of the word lord no where is it said Jesus was god or lord, it is the writers of the new testament by vote that claims th.at this . man Jesus to be a god, and what does god mean by word defined.. after all language is different in every nation so we can not say that one can or cannot a Faith in a word now can we .. words ./ language only and who has the right definition of the word, or language by truth or what does god . truly mean or lord... no one can in truth say for all language is human defined,,

I am a light Conservative and I do not believe in god.
The problem is the bible. A very old book that know knows who wrote it. Can't back it up. It is a simple concept. God is an imaginary friend for adults.
