I know and understand what I believe and I answer what I practice.

Only what I believe. If I don't understand it I can't explain it. So I look for the answer, then by the learnership of the Holy Spirit I answer.

No, but then it wouldn't be faith.
Just because we practice something doesn't mean we need to understand it and vice versa. It can be disputed whether comprehension and practition complement or distract from each other, but personally, the best form of understanding is recognized spontaneously WITHOUT analysis. Remember -

Originally, I was taught what to believe. As the years passed by and I saw/realized/learned other things, I began to question the way things were. I started paying attention to what I needed and I have since discovered that I can't rely on one set of teachings to get me where I need to go on my journey.

I think there's a time in everyone's life when they begin to examine what they've been taught and see if that's what they believe in their heart. I try to answer what I believe because I wasn't really taught.
