Well, I'm madly in love with a guy 27 yrs. older than me, but he's got to wait for Ten months to be with me. Do you think guys could wait that long or do you think they'll cheat. He says he loves me and I believe him, but there's always and "if". What do you think?

Honey, if you have to ask...that is RED flag #1. At 19, you have not even begun to live your life. I'm sure he's saying all the right things, but open your eyes sweetheart. Love should be felt with the brain also, not just with your heart. You are getting red flags, warning signs. Listen to your gut and not your heart. If you have to wait 10 months, I'm sure its because he is probably not divorced yet OR he's in jail. Please start living your life and dont wait. Once you start living it, you'll wonder why you wasted your time asking this question. Good Luck and God Bless you!

I love older men, but every time I have dated an older man, I have been used.

Let's face it - we're way out of our leagues with these guys. They have YEARS of experience and know every trick in the book.

They play with you with their 'oh God I'm soooo old' act to gain your sympathy, to appear as though they are constantly in fear of your leaving them, but don't be fooled - oldest trick in the book with older men. And have you ever noticed how he NEVER has money? What happened to this older men have all the money stuff? He'll play you with that, too. "OH GOD, you're going to dump me because here I am, (insert age) and I can't even pay my bills, AND I'm soooo old."

I know I sound jaded but I'm about to break up with yet another older man who has played me. It isn't worth the heart break.

If you absolutely must stay with this guy, tell him you want an open relationship, and date other people while he is away. Do NOT wait for him.

Can't you find someone your own age? or at least closer to it? Why do you have to wait 10 months for him? Is his divorce not final? I think I could wait for the person if that was what I really wanted to do, but I think this guy is just stringing you along & is probably still married. Lose him...NOW!

Hon... in 10 months he'll be 47 years old.
He's sneaking up on 50!
Do you really want to be 22 years old, married to a man who's 50?

You're worried he'll cheat - so you dont trust him either.
Please sweetie...... stop dating "older men". Handle life yourself and seek a man you can share life with - not one you can hand it over to.

I think he's using you. Wake up and smell the oldness... This man is obviously old enough to be your father. You are young and impressionable.

He is taking advantage of a young girl for his own selfish whims. Open your pretty eyes now, and realize this. Find yourself a man roughly your age (not exactly your age, he could be slightly older) but not THAT much older!!!

A man that old has nothing but sex on his mind for someone that could be his daughter.. Shame on him, he should know better...

Damn perverts..

That is difficult...guys that are that much older I really don't think that he will be able to hold out for ten months...that is a long time for a guy to go with out it....if you know what I mean....
