GOD!!!! God allows suffering to happen to see which path we will choose.... With free will, who will will turn to? Evil or Jesus? God feels hurt too whenever he sees bad things happen to us, because God loves us so much, he gave hhis only son, Jesus to die for us... Can you imagine how much that would have hurt? Now we're turning our backs on him, hurting him even more... Those who believe in him will have eternal life and those who reject him will be in hell for eternity...

The lord is my shepherd i shall not be in want,
He makes me to lie down on green pastures,
He leadth me to walk beside still waters...
Though i walk through the valley of shadow of death,
I will fear no evil.... For you are with me...
you will comfort me, you are with me...
Surely goodness and mercy will be with me all the days of my life, And i will dwell in the house of the lord forever.... Forever

It depends on what society your are talking about. In the US it is about even between the media and the government concerning society as a whole. God has no power seeing how such an entity doesn't exist, however the concept of God does play a major part in the personal life of many people.

God has no power in todays society. If God did, then there would be less killing, less lying, less divorce. I would say it's a big struggle between the government and media, but I think if the media wanted they could turn up the heat.

God is the cause of all causes. Not even a single blade of grass can move without His permission. He controls by His energies everything and everyone. Todays society is in illusion created by the government and media, but God's omnipotence is eternal, so this question is useless.

i dont believe in a god but the would all have equal power since the government officials allow their religious believes to come through in their job even though there is supposed to be a seperation of church and state and the government can control what can or cannot be seen in the media to an extent. the media then influences people's beliefs.

Allah (God) is the most powerful definitely, he don't need us we need him. The government only wants to take our money and tax us for everything, the media is the devils tool I think it's all lies and bull-crap because they only show us what they want us to see and hear, where's Allah (God) asks nothing of us but to have faith, be good and kind to each other and cause no mishit in the world. But we live in a day and age where people believe what they read and see in the newspapers and TV and do whatever the government wants us to do, wheres Allah (God) asks that we only do good and help our fellow man.

God which speaks through the media and acts through government.

Lol, just because we don't understand the will of the universe doesn't mean God isn't directing and guiding us everyday. But if you're asking what people recognize and BELIEVE to be most familiar with, that would be the media. After all, that is how we communicate.

Of those three, government, though the media aren't far behind. Being nonexistent, god has no power at all, but organized religions are right up there in power with government.

Unfortunately, while God is all-powerful, He allows us to ruin our lives if we want. I would have to say that Media is the most powerful thing today. Governments change and move depending on reports generated and the mass outcry that accompanies them.

Definitely the media. But who runs the media - the government.

Corporations use all 4 for their own profit.

The state sales our soldiers blood as a tax subsidy to corporations.

Government is the tool of corporations.

Media is almost completely consolidated in the hands of a few corporations.

And God,,,well god is big business--look on any sunday morning religious show.
