You can get adhesive vinyl but wood appearance stick on tiles at B & Q..

they are the best option for a short stay flat.

Otherwise, TOPPS TILES OR ALLIED CARPETS do good deals on the real laminates

Even the cheapest Laminate flooring is good for at least 5 years .
Laminate flooring is a photo of real wood laminated onto the base wood so its the base that is the quality not the top.BandQ
sell a good laminate for a bout £4 sq mt and also buy the underlay on a roll less hassle laying it.

Its cheap! real cheap..But.. quality is important. Im a contractor myself. No laminate flooring is waterproof... only water resistance. In Singapore, we go by per sq feet which cost from SGDG$3 to $8/sqfeet. That means to say its around SGD$30 to $80/ sq meter.

There are so many brands all over the world. Im sure u have heard of Pergo from Sweden. Its the most expensive laminated flooring so far from what i know. Not only quality.. workmanship too. There are boards from china which is very popular now. Malaysia too.

There are 2 types of boards. Soft and hardwood. Softwood doesnt means the board is soft or using soft materials. Its the trees they used to come out the laminate board.Example.. This brand from Germany., Kronotex. Their board is using pine wood. Using only pure pine wood to make the board. Or can i say using only the same type of trees??Haha I have to check again.

Hardwood is using any type of trees found in the tropical countries. They chop it down n mixs them n come out with the board.

O.... u where are looking for cheap laminated floorings... hahahhaa

We got some b&q value stuff which worked out at £3.99 sq/m. Remember you need to add on underlay and trim to join the floor and skirting. The cheap stuff is only good for areas that don't get used much. Why not get more expensive stuff and take it with you? You will lose some due to cuts but buy a couple of spare packs.

We bought some from Carpet Right last year. Good value but their installation 'team' (I use the word loosely!) were crap, rude, unprofessional and sloppy.
