umm, if u need a name for a baby boy, u need to give a bit more of details. Yahoo Answers is used by thousands of people around the world. For example if you are a Europ you would probably not want to give your child an Arabic name.

Something on M or N, because these are nice and good letters to say and write. I'd go for Matthew
The name needs two or three cyllabils - which is easier to say; Try Martin instead of Mel. Melvin instead of Nick - you know.
If name end on a vowel, you can also keep it longer in your mouth... It sounds weird, but really serious. Try it. Tooonyyyy instead of Nick - if you need to shout for the boy to get home for dinner..... Tooooonyyyyy instead of Niiiihhiiiiiiiiick.

I would look back at your family history, often last names can be used as first ones. That way it can be original and still have meaning.
