An old recipe from the 1940's, but still a favorite)

3 cups Frito Lay's Brand Corn Chips
1 large Onion, chopped
1 can (19 ounce) chili (or home made chili)
1 cup grated American cheese

Place 2 cups of Fritos Corn chips in a baking dish. Arrange chopped onion and half of grated cheese on the corn chips. Pour chili over chips over onion and cheese. Top with the remaining corn chips and grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

You can eat this salad, called Kachumber! Yes that is the correct spelling! Basically get 1 cucumber, 1 tomato (de-seeded) 1 onion, 100g iceberg lettuce, coriander leaves, lemon/lime juice, salt and pepper.
So you halve and de-seed the cucumber, cut into julienne(thin strips). Julienne the tomato, onion and lettuce. Roughly chop the coriander. Mix all together with the juice. Season. Whats so good about this salad is that it is the complete contrast in texture, and taste to the chilli. Its so fresh and also if the chilli is very spicy, it can also assist in the cooling of the mouth.... Trust me Im a Chef!!!!!

Always chilli with rice, home made guacamole, jalapenos, sour cream, grated cheddar cheese, salsa and chopped spring onions - oh, and maybe some tortilla chips. My sister-in-law eats chilli with Branston Pickle - eek!

Usually just a kaiser roll. If I'm at Wendy's I'll have a small burger and a small order of chili (with LOTS of hot sauce).

Try it over spaghetti. This is quite well known and is called Cincinnati Chili, named after the city where it was invented.

I usually just eat chili and crackers. Around here everybody eats chili with crackers, and nothing else. I can't imagine eating it with any thing else.
