There is no such thing as "cheap" when talking about foreign adoption, and most adoptive parents don't like to refer to the cost of adoption in those terms. For those who do adopt from foreign countries, there are obviously costs involved, but we don't like to say that our kid was "cheap" or "expensive" - they're just our kids.

Some religious organizations will give you help in adoption pursuits, and there is an adoption tax credit available - speak to an accountant. Adopting through the foster care system is free and is a very good option to consider.
