The Old Testament, when He gave the 10 Commandments... and all the times (many) when He speak to the Prophets!
While, the New Testament is about Jesus' life.

Jesus is the word, is the message from God.

In the begining was the word, the word was with God, and the word was God.

I think the more imposing question would be, do you really think that God wrote down his word himself and handed to someone? Man is responsible for God's words, therefore - it is prone to mistake. Just keep that in mind. : )
