Man all these people with no sense of adventure! You only live once....go for it! However I would not do the whole blonde look. I would get some highlights that are in the blonde family yet compliment the red. Over time you can increase these highlights and get a little more blonde.
Even though highlights can be pricey, it is better to get them rather than color all your hair one color. When you do that you have to get your hair colored every 6 weeks just about as your roots start growing in. With highlights you can stretch this out by about 10 weeks or slightly more, because when your roots grow in it is not as noticeable and looks more natural.
I would go to a professional and get this done initially, if you do it yourself and you have no experience, you may regret it and not know how to fix it. Also there are some hair coloring products that you purchase at the store that are harder to correct than salon products. Trust me I had to learn this the hard way once! :)

I am a redhead too and i know we want to stay faithful to the ginger but life is all about change! I put streaks in and the effect is great. Hint... do it yourself, at home. Red hair is notorisly hard to bleach and at least when you do it yourself you can keep an eye on development.Went to the hairdressers twice and could hardly notice the highlights at all. Boots do a great home streaking kit... really good. Good Luck fellow Ginge!!

NO WAY!! I'm a redhead too and there aren't enough of us out there. Being red is so unique, why do you want to be yet another blonde girl (no offense to our blonde friends out there). Think of it this way, other people pay small fortunes to look like us! ;)

I think you should have fun and go for it if you want too as you can always change back later.
Bleach is damaging so the long process to grow it out or cut it short should be considered before you go for it.
ps - I am a dark blonde who is in the process of growing out the sunlightened bits so that I can go red :-)

If u are wanting blonde hair try some foiled hilites. I recommend going to a salon and not doing it yourself. They usually will put in just a few around your face so u can see if u will like it. Also tell them u want a pale yellow color not white.

The color looks good, I'd recommend shorter, though. If you also did blonde - it would be a shocking change. Not a bad idea. Go for it.

No you should keep it red, don't go blonde. Blonde would not the correct color for you... maybe a light brown or brown.

God wanted you to have red hair. You should be proud to be a red head. It makes you unique. There are not that many red heads. Be thankful for what you have instead of trying to change it.
Hope this helped!

If you do anything at all only high lights, foil high lights or the expensive high lights you can buy at Wal-Mart I think its about $20. a box, it is a high light kit. I personally would do nothing or have a professional foil high lights.
