Actually, a careful reading of the Land Covenent within the Abrahamic Covenant proves Lebanon is PART of Israel. In the Millenial Kingdom, this land will be restored to the Jewish people (see Ezekiel 47:13 - 48:29) -- but not by human warfare. However, even in Jesus' time, Lebanon was inhabited by paganized peoples. You may have seen references to Tyre and Sidon on tv yesterday -- these are the SAME cities to which Jesus referred in Matt. 11:21-22!

My understanding of Ezekiel 38 and 39 is that Lebanon is not a participant in this war that will devastate the Muslim nations and Russia. After things settle down in the Middle East, no doubt brokered by a country or countries with war on their minds, God will enrage Russia, Iran, Somalia, Egypt and other countries to invade Israel.

And Ryan, you are incorrect. Lebanon is mentioned many times in the Bible. Its first direct reference occurs in Deut. 1:7. Israel (the country, not the man) is first referred to in Genesis 33:20.

whoo hoo! I in basic terms said newscasts from Lebanon, Iran, and Syria. you imagine the information of the west is myopic?, you purchased to work out those outright liars. The y easily ran a narrative preserving they (Hezbollah, the 'heroes'), downed an Israeli F-16, and took the pilots into custody. Then, even as there replaced into no information to help the declare, the tale, rather of being retracted, in basic terms "disappeared". As I actually were gazing the middle east percolate my finished life, i'm always nevertheless surprised the way it really is, 'interior the minds of the Arabs', always Israel's fault, even as Israel responds to assaults by skill of them(Arabs). Egypt were given schooled in 'sixty seven, Iraq were given schooled even as Saddam replaced into construction his Hitler-esque lengthy-decision cannon. MY GOD! Are those people any more suitable useful than the idiots interior the U.S. who easily have self belief the propaganda that the U.S. is a Democracy?

"Lebanon" and "Israel" are both post-biblical entities of which no mention is made in the Bible. If you're looking for a prophacy from Revelation which describes such an occurance, you're barking up the wrong tree.
