My 76 year old father keeps going to Thailand and sleeping with 20 year old girls. He brings naked photos of them home and shows them around the pub to my friends to my embarressment. What should I say or do?

Um... quite interesting.
I understand that it's quite embarrassing... but I don't think it's dilemma at all.
BTW, it's never too old to have sex.
Although your father has the right to fulfill his sexual needs, he should also consider his family's feeling toward him; if you have already told him how you feel and he's OK with your frustration and his own embarrassment, that's Fine! Since it's not directly your problem, I would just laugh about it!
Elderly also have sexual needs! So why not just let him be until he doesn't want it any more! AND be sure that he knows how you and your friends know how they think and feel!

Wow... well that seems very pedophilic, (despite the fact that they are of age), but I would say confront him about this. I do not even know the guy - and I am embarrassed. I hope that as you are his daughter, he will consider your feelings and stop. However, at the same time, are you simple bothered by the fact that he does this at all or merely that he is "highlighting" this to people around the pub? Both are equally deplorable in my opinion, but if it is only the latter - he should at least be more *easily* (if that is a proper term for this awkward/inappropriate situation) able to accommodate your feeling with simply stopping the lavish boasting and picture sharing with others.

Crikey, poor you..... but I think you should try not to be embarrassed and think to yourself how lovely to have a dad that has reached 76 years old and still enjoying his life. Maybe tell him that you are pleased he enjoys his time in Thailand but when you are with him could he please stop showing the photos around.
Your dad could be just showing off and pretending that he's sleeping with these girls - he has pride you know. God I wish my dad had gone off to Thailand and brought back photos maybe he's still be here with us.
Your friends have brains, they can work things out themselves. They probably think as I do that he bought the pictures, and if he IS in them too then he's just trying to live his old life again - poor thing - Don't go to the pub with him - or take him have a drink and leave - tell him you'll pick him up at closing time. Please leave your dad with his 'fun'.

Yikes! Gee's...okay, he obviously feels very comfortable around you being himself...bravo for that I say. Address your concerns with him openly, and honestly, that will be effective and appreciated. He may be having a little fun, but needs to realize some do find it offencive, and he could run into a bit of trouble for that, should someone want to place a formal complaint. I know not how the laws work where you are in that regard but the possibility of making his fun and embarrassment turn into something way more embarrassing and a lesson learnt having to deal in the legal aspect of it, would be worse. Therefore ask him not to put you in that situation, and keep his sex life behind his home's closed door, in his privacy, if you will, and you think that it done that way would be more respectful in sight of the father and daughter relationship yous have and that respect includes any time, any where where your presence may be. Your dad is matured enough and know what he is doing that gave embarassment to you and to your family! It is not your shame ,it is your father shame! Maybe he is just proud of being an old got a very young lady and could not control himself! It will just make a big trouble if you will control your dad for such annoying things! Ignore them as long as you have respect to your dad! Self control is the most important and let him enjoy because he is very old already and just nourishing his last days in this world1Or to avoid them,stay away from them and have a vacation with your other relatives and enjoy!

Ask him how he'd feel if some guy you boffed showed naked pictures of you around his pub? Remind him that all these women are someone's daughter.
Or you could have him comitted to a nursing home. Just a thought.

Your fathers sex life is his own business, you may not agree with what he does, but it is HIS choice, as long as he is being sensible and using protection, and not sleeping with under age girls, then let him be.
I can understand how the fact that he is showing these pictures to your friends is embarrassing, maybe you could discuss this with your father, let him know how you feel, and ask him not to show them to YOUR friends, surely your father has friends of his OWN that he could share them with, if he so wishes.
