i met this great gurl and she was a great friend of mine, then i found out that she had done drugs and i freaked out

there is a difference between drug users and drug abusers. throwing someone into the druggie category ain't gonna help you understand her any. Some people casually do drugs, just like some people casually drink. I hope you can find a way to have a conversation with her, and that you can come thought in a friendly manner. if you come of like your tring to be over supportive like she has a problem then shes probably going to close off from conversation, and close off to you all together. People who do drugs need to find others who are willing to try to understand them, and be helpful for them.
Drugs are so offen the only person they can turn to when the world gets dark and depression sets in. Its a very hard painstaking endeavor but if you could be there for her instead of the drugs, you could save her from them feelings and have a very good relationship. Unfortunately past drug abusers do have a fairly bad way of falling deep back down in. Good luck friend. and I wish you luck

One word 'escapism' soem people get it in their heads that when they are high they are more mellow and peopel like them, soem even believe that drugs releive tehm from stress. And of course some think it makes them cool or sophiscated again 'escapism'

i personaly did drugs because i was going through a very bad time...i was raped and my bf killed my baby. I thought it was the only way to get rid of the pain but it made my life worst. Now, i cant remeber hardly anything.
