"Absolute truth" based on superstition and delusion is the definition of ignorance. If ignorance is bliss, Christians must be having never-ending explosive orgasms.

It's an interesting one, but firstly you have to think in what way they are being ignorant? Is it ignorance to science - when it comes to science a quote from one of the most well known scientist comes to mind, Albert Einstein said :
"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
For instance if a Christian was to say "I dont to believe in evolution" that wouldnt be ignorance but an opinion and remember all science is theory.
In the case of other religions Christians believe that their God is the one and only God and that God's son Jesus lived a perfect life and sacrificed himself to forgiver us of our sins so religions that teach different to this or go against anything else that is in the bible must be wrong.
So its not ignorance its simply Christians that are trying to live there life as close to the way Jesus lived his: telling people about how much God loves them and wants to know them.
I hope that helped.

Many scientists are Christian too, so are the engineers, and those pioneers in many iindustries. Are they all ignorance?
By the way, if you care enough to check on the history of University, you will find that it is branch out from the Church.
Ignorance? Who? The person starting this question? Or? Let it be me.

Christianity doesn't lead to ignorance: Christianity is born from ignorance--ignorance of science, ignorance of other faiths. And religions need to keep you ignorant, because if you start questioning things, if you start trying to apply intelligence and logic, you'll see that you're being sold a pack of lies, and you'll stop giving them your money.

I don't know. Why are you so ignorant? Christianity can lead to enlightenment. Depends on the individual. I certainly don't consider myself ignorant. In fact my considerable wisdom led me to Christianity. So what's your point? You apparently are down on Christianity, so are you Muslim? Atheist?

Just the opposite, knowledge of God's Word is wisdom.
Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
