I don't think there is an extreme out there in this day age. The church has not taken the intiative in several years to "convert" the lost. In most churches the new tactic is to disciple the exisiting believers to better aid society through relationships. i think that "the church" has finally realized that you cannot force, browbeat, or nag someone into a true faith in Christ.

The church has learnt from the error in thier ways. However this church adding Pagan things is crazy talk.
Yes, you can find a Pagan religion that does anything and everything. So, I guess no matter what the church does people will always find these things. The church just follows thier books, look it up. They didn't go oh that sounds like a good thing to do.

Some of the things mentioned may be true, but definately it does not represent the entire pictures.
I ever heard one Muslim lady told me that Christian gave alot of money to others so that they become Christian! I sure would like to know which church was that, for I am still very poor.
Christian may have done wrong, in certain unsensitive way, when they share the gospel, 'Good News'. If people accept, fair and good. If they don't, charity still be given.
No need to talk much. Recently, in the Pakistan earthquake, how many of the relief workers are Christian? Almost 99%. How many Muslim converted? Nothing!
Lets look at Indonesia, from the Tsunami in Aceh to the recent earthquake in the Java, to the turmoil in Timor, how many percent of the relief workers are Christian? Again, more than 99%. How many converted from Muslim to Christian? None mentioned.
Please note that the relief work are still carrying on. If there is any force conversion, the Indonesian Government would have kick them all out.
As I understand, the Christian relief work from various church are still in Centra Java. I heard one of my friend told me this, a Muslim villiager told him, "why you Christian always come? Even our Muslim Arab never help".
Christian may have done wrong sometime. We are still sinner man. But Bible believing one will always want to do what Jesus taught. Love your neighbour as yourselves, and remember the poor. By this (love) shall all man know that you (Christian) are my (Jesus) disciple, if you have love for one another,
Sorry, if any christian had offended you in any way, in your life. I am sorry.

Are you talking about the church, or the decider?
I believe it's not the church's mission to save your soul. It is "your mission" to save your own soul. Of course, belief is the only fuel for that.

i think that churches are a dying breed and will stop at nothing to secure the rights to preach old ideas and spread their wings into politics.
Pretty much unless you're going to church every sunday, oyu're gonna burn to damnation...
or you could just live your life based on what you think is right and not judge what others do.

Well, so far the church has stopped at nothing, including murder. Why might you think things are any different today, or will be tomorrow? Don't let your guard down...

What pagan beliefs were inserted? You either believe or you don't, it's as simple as that.

They will do anything to get people to join their cult. They even accept gays now which they never have done in the past. They will probably start doing gay marriages to in the near future......
