The expertise of Indian workers lies in the technology field, not the 'customer service phone center' field.

Call center jobs are outsourced only because of cost concerns.

Technology jobs are outsourced because the schools in India prepare students much better than schools here in the States do. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) system they have is basically MIT here, except we have only ONE MIT and they have multiple IIT's. Plus, Indian workers don't ask for as high wages since the cost of living over there is much lower than here.

:) ....now that made me smile as I work in an environment where jobs are foolishly going to India. Global Diversification isn't all it's cracked up to be. . I'm tired of working in a corporate environment, having this theory of what great expertise there is in that country shoved down my throat ....while we all sit here and know the real reason these jobs are going overseas....it's not for "expertise".we have MIT graduates and many other quality technical schools in this country..it's cost savings...the bottom line!

So...again it makes me smile to read your question...as I now look towards stepping out of Corporate America and want to write a book titled... "If this is the American Dream....WAKE UP"!!!

Yeah but than Israel would have to give up what's left of THEIR RIGHTFULLY OWNED LAND and you all know how they feel about losing even more of their land. Even though they really could use our protection.
