Yes, it will help because it uses more calories than sitting.
walking and shifting your weight from foot to foot is activity.
sitting uses much less calories. anytime your body is in motion you are using calories.

I'm going to guess that if you're on your feet most of the time, you'll be walking more than you would sitting or laying down, so I would assume yes. However, if you're trying to compare how many calories you'd burn from just sitting or standing, don't bother. You need excercise, this means walking, jogging, running, find a sport you like to play! Standing helps, but it's what you do after you stand up that helps you either to lose weight or keep it on!

If you are moving around while standing up, it probably helps keep you from gaining weight, versus sitting or lying down all the time.
It probably won't help you to lose weight, as diet and more vigorous exercise (something that raises your heartbeat beyond normal) is usually recommended to accomplish that.

A little. It is better to try walking about 30 minutes a day at a good pace. You need to get your heartbeat elevated for the 30 minute period.

I don't think so. Your body has to be in motion to get your circulation going and your heart pumping. All standing up all the time does for me is give me leg cramps.

my guess is no, but if you are unhappy with your stomach sucking it in uses the muscles therefore tightening your stomach, making it less flabby. so while you are standing, suck in!
to lose weight and really make a difference you have to excerise until you sweat.

It's far better than sitting. The more you move around, the better, and that even includes fidgeting by tapping your hands or feet.
