why do people dislike muslims.. i dont think they are so bad?

i dont think terrorists follow any religion because i dont think any religion can preach hate and murder. there may be a few texts pertaining to wars but such texts are timebound and im sure present in many religious books.. ive been reading up about the religion but i dont seem to find anything negative about them yet.

There isn't hate preached in their religion either. The terrorists are a bunch of "radical" people who are totally LOST and have decided to read into the Quran what they wanted to read. It's like us reading the Bible "an eye for an eye" -- would you take someone's eye? No. We have terrorists in the US -- remember the Oklahoma City Bombing? That was a US Citizen and others. If you take every statement literally in the Bible, you would 1) be confused because some of it is contradictory; and 2) we'd be pulling each other's eyeballs out. This is what they think. The get other lost souls (well, people but you know what I mean) -- they brainwash them making them believe their way. It has nothing to do with religion. Religion is not about hatred. The feel "hate"

I live in an Islamic Country. The problem is not the Moslems, but the Islam itself.
Islam and Quraan even Mohamed Himself have a lot of contradictions.

There are some verses that order people to be nice with others and these are the verses that you usually hear by any Moslem if you do not know Islam well, but once you go further in the "Shari'a" and "Sunna" which are the laws of Islam and its prophet you will see a completely different ideas and actions.

Mohamed was ordering women to wear in such way, as a kind of modesty, which is nice.
On the other hand he allowed himself unlimited number of women in the name of marriage, one of them was child 9 years old. …………isn’t this a contradiction?

Mohamed was ordering the commanders of his army not to cut trees or burn houses while asking them to kill the “unbelievers” unless they accept his religion. …………isn’t this a contradiction?

Those whom we called terrorists nowadays are practicing true Islam without any manipulation.

Refer back to the Islamic history; see the wars incurred between “Al Sahaba” (friends) of Mohamed, immediately after his death for Power, Money “Zakat” and leadership “Khelafa”.

Moreover, can any Moslem state one Verse in the Quraan contains the ward “LOVE”
Love to God, to Man and to the enemy.

People, God wants you thinking, he created you free. please use your minds................The proplem is the ISLAM not the Moslems, they are people who need help.

Yup, you are right, and I am muslim, i never found in Qur'an any statement about terrorism. Infact, Allah azza wa jalla, Warn every muslim that if they did s/thing bad and naming it in a path of Allah, they will get their own payment.

So maybe bad things that muslims accepted, is because their own fault, not Islam, but the people. Islam itself theach about peace, humanity, and aequal between people. We don't think about 'kasta' like Hindu said, because the different among muslim is just about their imaan to Allah The Almighty.

And war against another believers is just committed if our religion is attacked by others. And it must be in the order from Government, no individual can commit wars.

In Al Kaafirun, the last verses, -one of chapter in Quran- said that lakum diinukum wa liyadiin. Which means that "Your religion is yours, and ours is ours". So we have no obligation to push others to hold Islam on their heart if they don't want to, ofcourse after we ask them and show them about our religion.

That's all. Allah is The only God we believe and May peace be upon Muhammad.

I think because people allow themselves to believe what others tell them. We are reaching into a time in our culture where more people do not look at the whole picture but only what they want to see or what they are told. So for many they see Islamic militants bombing people left and right for the name of Islam. People will tend to believe they are all bad. Think back to WW II when people went all nutty against the japanese they thought well since they carried out these attacks all of them must be bad.

Well. . . I do not think that all muslim are bad. But the fact and statistic shows that almost all terrorist act are committed by them, some even on their own people.

Like the Jakarta Boming, Bali Bombing, in Arab countries, many other incident. Why?

I can't help but to think twice about them. But sincerely speaking, I really pity them. It is meaningless pursuit. Do they ever know that Isa Almasih does not want them to do that, and when Isa Almasih returned to judge, what will they say to Isa(Jesus)?

Muslim are loveable and Islam is last and true religion provides all solution of matter but some ppls remain bad in every religion or cumminity so Muslim should not targited if any one want to study muslim he should study the life of prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

There are moderate Muslims too. Maybe the terrorists misuse the Koran or carry the teachings to the extreme.

Thank you for understanding. I know there are many people on this site who hate Islam and therefore they criticize Muslims etc, but they do so without knowing the truth about Islam.

I couldn't care less if others are not Muslims, as long as they understand what Islam is.

So, thank you very much for understanding - I wish there are more understanding people like you.

PS, It was said by prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) "If any person kills another innocent person, its like he/she has killed the whole of humanity. If any persons saves the life of another human, its like he/she has saved the whole of humanity."

dear kiki assalamualaikum i ll give an advice not to ask these type of questions here .b coz majority of people ll answer u negatively. you must stick on your beleif n be firm on Allah the almighty . practice on the teachings of prophet muhammed pbuh.Always have a positive attitude on others(nonmuslims) n give respect to them . Dont bother what other think abt us . The day of judgement is not far away . be patient and wait till the doomsday.

Christian churches spread poisonous lies about other religions to frighten their people into staying loyal and continuing to pay their tithes. At the moment it's Islam that gets the heat, but for much of history it was Jews, and soon enough it'll be something else.

My wife and her family are Muslim. They are beautiful people.
