If it does, I cannot taste it. It is made almost entirely (as in 99%) of sugar cane syrup (along with all those lovely preservatives, artifical coloring and flavoring). There is nothing maple about it. If you want maple flavor, go to Vermont, New Hampshire or Quebec and buy yourself some real maple syrup, made from the sap of real maple trees. Grade A dark Amber is the best (it has the most flavor). Don't get that fancy stuff. It is too light and has less flavor than the dark amber.

Most commercial syrups contain between 1 and 2 percent maple sryup. This syrup is mostly corn syrup and water. While maple syrup is mostly sugar anyway, the high Fructose corn sryup that they use has some potentially edverse reactions inside your body. The artificial sryup is much more kid Friendly as real sryup is a bit tangy and I know that my doughter will not touch it.

I don't think it does....the only really good kind of syrup in my opinion is real maple syrup from Canada or Vermont.

You'd have to look at the ingredients listed on the side of the bottle.
