When Princess Yoda Kitty died she made one last trip to the cat box...slowly laid down and her breathing became very shallow. She might have a breath every 20 seconds. Every now and than she would gasp and jerk. Then suddenly she stopped. Her heart did not beat, she no longer gasped or jerked and she was released from her body and escorted to heaven by all the little kitty angels. Once she got there they celebrated by having fish and sniffing cat nip. Right now she is passed out at the feet of God with a smile on her face.

when some one dies , there body has come to an end ,
the energy that fueled the body , and made us who we were
has left the body and will become some thing else , i wish i could tell you what , i dont really know , but the energy will
take on a new existance ,perhaps a new life , maby air water
a flower or perhaps a new birth,
in any event death is a natural event associated with the aged
, so dont worry , they feel no more pain or sorrow and are at rest

Philosophically it depends on your stand point.Physically the final common pathway is lack of blood to the brain which renders an individual unconscious and unresponsive( this of course can be reversed eg cardiac arrest scenarios in certain cases), subsequently death proceeds in a predictable manner organwise and at a cellular level with certain hallmark phenomena under the microscope. The body starts to decay c/o the large load of bacteria in the gut.The exact time course is a function of environmental factors eg temp, humidity etc and specific interventions eg embalming.SAnguine but I hope that helps A doctor

If anyone could answer this one for you then they could only be you. No one can really know the answer - its all down to personal belief or faith - but people - as you can see from the answers here often have very strong views. People will never agree.
Ultimately for me the answer is "Who cares?" You can't live death you can only live life - you will all too soon find out for yourself.
I think of it as the last big exciting question. Like leaving the biggest most intriguing present to open last.
Meanwhile you have plenty of life experiences to open. That final special present that holds so much mystery can wait - plenty of others to open yet.

they are taken to a mortician their body is filled w/all kinds of chemicals so they dont smell bad, their body is depleted of all their blood. Afterwards they are prepared for the wake/funeral. And then buried of course.
If the person was murdered they are sent to the hospital for possible causes of death.

As per Hinduism our body is divided into 2, "SUSHMA" & "STULA". The hardware portion of our body is known as STULA & other one is SUSHMA..
Actually ur physical body is created by "Panja bhootas". After ur death ur this body will subdivided into Panja bhootas.
But Ur Soul that means "atma" or "Stula" its a part of "Sivasakthi", as per our Ancients like Veda Vyasa etc it is situated in our Spinal code i.e. "Kundalini".
After ur death, if u get Moksha, ur atma will absorbed by Sivasakthi. if u doesn't get Moksha then u will re-born as any creature in earth.
