My brother has been diagonised as having Miliri TB and his lungs are affected. I want suggestions regarding the diet he has to follow. How long the treatment will last?

The treatment will last eight or nine months. Normal, healthy, balanced diet should be given along with a multivitamin and mineral supplement.Don't worry. He should be O.K. if he takes treatment regularly.

Miliary tuberculosis means every part of the body is affected by tuberculosis.Initially it starts from a single focus like lungs or lymph nodes but involves the whole body.It is more serious than a single part T.B. Treatment is the usual chemotherapy. It lasts for six months.

Tuberculosis typically like to eat lungs. Especially of those with poor health, smokers, and the morbidly alcoholic.
