If it's over it's over...no need to show the person anything. If you're showing it means you still care for this person and the relationship isn't over!

No - it's not a good way. It's actually kind of mean. I have a good friend who is avoiding me right now and it hurts because I don't know why. If I knew why, at least there would be some closure. If you just aren't interested in a person or you don't want to be with them just because you don't, then tell them that. Tell them something. I'm left to feel that he is pissed at me for something and it's very confusing. He's also been depressed so I'm worried about him because I care. I'm left now in a state of confusion and worry and it doesn't feel good.

NO! You were in a relationship with a human being! If you cared about someone and he/she just avoided you after you two had been dating. You would wonder for a long time what happened. It would hurt you. Do you really want to do that to someone else?

Just tell her/him you want to stop seeing her/him. If you're not strong enough to say it to their face, at least write them a letter or an email. Leave it on their voicemail. But don't just avoid them.

Be honest and straight up about it. Not talking to them or avoiding them can also be an initiation to chase the one doing the avoiding and might send the wrong signal. Just sit them down and tell them how you really feel, it will be easier on the both of you to move on once you've both gotten a chance to express how you feel.

believe me , it 'd only make it worse . coz this person may still have feelings for u and after all it 'd soon come to an end so making him wait and wait would cause nothing but sadness to him and discomfort while breaking up with him . i assure u nothing would be better than true honesty , at least , u won't be lying to him and what's the worst thing that may happen ? a broken heart ? we all had bigger troubles and it's not the end of the world ....

It is one way to do it, it is kind of cowardly, if someone wants to end a relationship why drag everyone along just by avoiding them. Just me a man/women about it.
