I used to get home at 630am have breakfast/dinner, a shower and go to bed about 730 or 8, get up about 1 or 2pm and then I could spend the afternoon doing what ever I wanted. But I was working 12 hour shifts and mostly just watched a bit of TV or playing music, or going out for walks or drives. The normal stuff. Days off were always good. Every so often I'd sleep through until 5pm and get up and go straight to work.

I hate working night shift! I sleep during the day and when I wake up there's nothing to do. I usually just watch TV because everything doesn't seem to be worth going to. Its even worse when you have the night off, nothing's open, everyone is sleeping, there's nothing on TV. I'm glad I'm quitting this job.

Talk about decay and half-life.

Well...people are isotopes, too.

Anybody familiar (*) with the aptly called "GRAVEYARD SHIFT", knows that by the time you punch out you're already totally -I underline TOTALLY- spent.

Every which way 'til Sunday.

Thus, your question is moot.

25 cents worth of advice:

Shun the hellish hours. Over the long run they will turn you into a zombie.

(*) I once worked 11PM to 7AM from 1972 to 1981. It messed up my health / life / marriage.
