Neither, really. Both have statistically normal distributions about an approximately equal intelligence mean. They do have different standard deviations, however, as there are more men at both the very high and very low end of the intelligence scales.

Simplify this question by asking another......Who runs the world? Are there more men in office, or more women? Women are caretakers and they are more caring than men. There are exceptions to any stereotype, though. All men are not more intelligent than all women, but we still run the world!
