Some decomposed in the ground. Some were eaten by all the fish. Some got buried by huge rocks and "turned into oil" ...

Brain, you got that right, about having to sift through the sarcasm.

Death is such a natural part of living. Our mortal bodies decompose and what remains is fodder for others. In the time frame you mentioned, the world was not heavily populated. Flood waters would have hastened the decomposition, too. Perhaps the survivors burned the corpses. Perhaps the bodies retreated back to the sea when the flood receded.

The thing about that is, the world was much smaller back then, in terms of population distribution. The known world (to Noah) consisted of the Mediterranean, and there is proof that there was a large flood in the Mediterannean at around the same time.

I assume most of the bodies were washed out to sea.

If you post crap, expect to get a 'bunch of crap' in return.

There was no Flood.

Oh, good question, I never ever thought about it....not questioning God and all.........lol

BUT, there were still fish in those waters and so there would be no disease from dead bodies, am sure God had it under control....
