Couscous is made from wheat, sort of an equivalent to pasta. So, if you can tolerate wheat and don't have wheat allergies, it is good for you. That is, if you don't eat too much of it (as with any food). To get the most nutritious couscous, look for whole wheat varieties, which will have more protein and B vitamins than regular couscous.

I should think so, in moderation, just like pasta, rice and noodles. It is mainly a source of carbohydrate.
