How and why are illegals getting free healthcare and social services? Why are they allowed Section 8 housing? How much does it cost America annually to produce bilingual documents and signage, as well as provide interpreters? As taxpayers, it all comes out of OUR pocket, yet we have virtually no say concerning this giveaway bonanza benefitting people who mock us, our values, and our laws.

Illegals can't get social services,BUT their American born children can.And it would be inhumane not to offer those services to ppl who are needy.
I don't like the way they go about it,sometimes.Like with food stamps, for instance, they should give you FOOD if you need food, not a friggin credit card.

IT is NOT RIGHT for us to pay for those people to get our tax paid services when they are not even citizens!! It is a form of THEFT from the American citizen. It drains our services therefore it will be depleted when some of our LEGAL citizens need it. Our Social Security was already in danger of running out before many of the Baby Boomers retire and now it will be even sooner. The govt. wants those people to kiss their butts and vote for them if they get amnesty(NOT!). The illegals work for slave wages and will suck up to the politicians who let them stay here and give them that amnesty and they'll vote for them.

As for the illegal people 'doing jobs Americans won't do" THAT'S HOOEY!! There ARE and ALWAYS HAVE BEEN legal American citizens doing those jobs. We ARE working in chicken processing plants, factories, as housekeepers, janitors, carpenters, FARMERS (who do their OWN harvesting and labor), road crew workers, and ANTHING else and MORE than illegal people do. Americans do QUALITY work not shoddy work like the illegals do that the Americans have to go behind and RE-DO! We are accustomed to better pay and those who hire us DID once pay us that fair wage. ILLEGAL people working for less do NOT help our economy, it does not do THEM any good to work for such low wages, it lowers the wages of legal Americans and they should not work for such low wages. Our govt. should NOT allow them to willingly work for those low wages and then get it SUPPLEMENTED BY WELFARE which WE the AMERICAN citizens have always had to PAY FOR through our TAXES! It's a form of ROBBERY!! Our govt. should put an END to that! The "Gravy Train" is about to be de-railed!!

doug - up^ there-There is nothing wrong with 'helping' your fellow man. But, there is a huge difference in 'helping' and being ROBBED!! If a person was born here and has lived in these United States of America all his life as an Amercan citizen then he IS a LEGAL American. EVEN if his ancestors were 'immigrants' they became LEGAL when it was the law to do so. There are LAWS NOW!! Anyone coming here without documentation is entering this country ILLEGALLY, AGAINST THE LAW!

We do it because 1) it is the right thing to do and 2) out of our own selfish interests. All major faiths recognize a duty we have to help others, including strangers and even enemies. It is no surprise illegals will accept jobs in harvesting crops, meat packing, construction, landscaping etc. which few others would take at minimum wage. Unless you are ready to spend a day in the fields, this is part of the price of the bounty at our table. We also provide health care in part because we know many diseases know no boundaries. Tuberculosis does not recognize nationality. Unchecked diseases will affect us all. Both common decency and public health require a minimum level of support to those in this country whether by birth, by stealth or as guests. Finally, if like myself, you are not of native American heritage, then our ancestors and by extension ourselves are "here illegally". Be careful about what you wish for.

The answer as to why is simple. The people who work for the government want secure jobs, and the more people who depend on the government to survive, the more secure those government jobs are.

The politicians want these illegal people here because they vote, and you always vote for the party that gives you freebies.

SUCCESS!

This is part of what frosts me. And then they blame it all on the 'employment magnet.' When people come from countries that don't even have universal education, the 'benefits magnet' is at least as much of a draw as jobs.

Because our administration is bought and paid for by big corporations? These big businesses want cheap labor, and they don't come much cheaper than illegal aliens .... all of which goes to prove that money speaks louder than patriotism and regard for your own citizens welfare, in case it needed to be spelled out ...

YES!!!

Because hospitals cannot turn them away, but have no idea who the patient really is or how to collect $$ from them.

Because our government wants them here so they can keep those they serve (Business) happy.

I don't know how much bilingual docs cost us, but it sure ain't free.

It sucks, doesn't it?
