Because they really do not care. They claim to 'support the troops' but ignore enemy atrocities and believe unthinkingly ever accusation made against US troops.
Remember the time the media repeated claims that we 'flushed a Koran down a toilet?' They were so eager to publish an accusation against the military that they ignored the fact that the claim was physically impossible.

What makes you even think that America does not care about those soldiers being tortured? The military leaders in Iraq cannot make a public display of their outrage, lest the American soldiers would go on a rampage. I have friends over there and those guys are at a point where it would take very little to send them into a slaughter mode. The restraint of the Americans over there has been amazing. They are true professionals who understand the risks of their situation. Never forget that our military are all voluntary; There is no one who is being forced to be in their respective branch of service. There is no draft, yet. I get sick to my stomach hearing about "sending our young to the slaughter." If the war was in your back yard, who would you want to defend you, the old gray haired guy with a walker and a hearing aid? Or would you want an able bodied, physically fit young soldier who is capable of relentless combat. I don't believe that the majority of Americans have the guts to stand up for their freedom on their own. Today, we are weaker at home than ever before. There is no way we could be united against an invading enemy, because we would want to find a way to talk our way out the fight, while they slaughter our wives and children without conscience of any kind. This question proves my point and sickens me.

Cause the media only reports things our troops do wrong, They don't care about anything good our soldiers do or how are troops are treated.
I bet you if our soldiers did that to an insurgent it would be on the front page of every news paper and be on every TV across the world. I just don't understand why the media picks on the Military and takes up for the insurgents all the time. I for one stopped watching the news on TV and I refuse to buy any news paper that slanders the troops.
Sometimes I wonder whose side the media is on. And what really ticks me off is it's our troops that have to protect the news media over there while they are writing crap about them. I say let them go live with the insurgents and see first hand what kind of pig scum they are, cause the media and the insurgents deserve each other.
And I just wish our government would step back and let our troops do the jobs they were trained for and stop punishing soldiers every time someone says a soldiers was to rough with them. It's war and you have to do what you can to stay alive and keep your other soldier alive.
But what really ticks me off is if the Military catches the men who killed the soldier they have to be nice to them and treat them pig scums like kings or the media will start putting down our Military and spreading lies about our troops. now think about that.

that's a complicated and intensely complicated problem. regrettably, the U. S. occupation of the country has enabled those activities. the total occupation became unlawful and has been mishandled from the start. previous to US involvement, there became extremely little sectarian violence and the country became regulation abiding. in the present day, the leaders of communities (interior of their parts of administration) will earnings skill by performing violently hostile to different communities. those leaders are the in basic terms regulation enforcement. notwithstanding some have claimed CIA involvement, i imagine this is drastic simplification. None-the-a lot less, just about all Iraqis desire the U. S. to go away their u . s . a .. maximum folk of people desire the U. S. to go away Iraq. If we are asserting ourselves supporters of democracy by the international, we ought to respect the favor of the individuals. the U. S. occupation is making issues worse for the conventional Iraqi citizen. that's time to end the trillion dollar quagmire that the U. S. has created for itself. even if that's "all about oil", the payback to the yank human beings is amazingly small relative to the buget deficiets, inflation, and fee in human lives. possibly that's in basic terms reaping rewards some great corporations and their stockholders. thanks for sharing this exciting article. It signifies that the themes are a lot higher than small communities attacking one yet another. this is difficult to locate this recommendation in any American media channel.

It would be because of the huge left wing media bias in the USA. They would much rather portray US soldiers as rapists and murderers when they haven't even gone to trial yet than the real heroes that they are. CNN=communist news network.

I agree with some earlier statements about the media hiding a LOT of stuff that would easily justify why we are there. I think the Media hides the info because the info doesnt fit into the political platform that THEY want. They being the liberal media of course.

First of all you are very wrong to assume.
Civilized countries do not take revenge like the uncivilized militants, insurgents and combatants in the mid east do... by torturing, murdering and mutilating civilians and soldiers.
America cares enough to punish its own, guilty of crime through established judiciary process in the country. I can't say the same for muslim mid east - theirs is a culture based on hatred and violence.

We all care. What dominates it is the seditious way the socialists and seditious use it to undermine our country. That is a betrayal of our country and our military. We care, and we will continue to remove more and more of the terrorists until every nation joins in the hunt.

It isn't that Americans don't care. It's that most of them don't know anything about it. Unfortunately, we have a biased media who doesn't want to cover anything that might show that there is a good reason why we are over there.
