Peace not War. Some people say thats what dreamers beleive not realist. But arent we all dreamers. Some people think war is the only way to obtain peace but it's not. Martin Luther King and Ghandi did more for peace then any War and they were non aggressive. Bush thinks that we have to force peace. Peace is not only a state of time where war is not occuring. But to me it is the state of time when love unity and harmony are being express freely through out the world. And you can't achieve that with war only peace leads to peace. Peace, Not War

No, War pops up the economy by increasing government spending to reduce surplus product. That is why the American economy popped up during the World Wars. The phrase peace not war is rather attractive but if a capitalist economy is to survive, war is always a partner

I find that president Bush in my view is a man just after making a profit and to hell with what most of his own country and world thinks. I wish we could have world peace but so long as we have capitalist like Bush and extremist like the terrorist. I don't believe we will ever achieve it. Peace would be a wonderful thing though don't you think.

I rather think that he does understand the meaning of this phrase:
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty."
-- John F. Kennedy Inaugural Address Washington, D.C. January 20, 1961

It's simple. When the U.S. is in control of everything and is acting like a bully to everybody, there is peace. When the spotlight switches to someone else, we get mad and there is war.

We understand just how empty of meaning the phrase is.
Anybody can repeat an empty slogan.

I wonder if Afganistan had heard that when they attacked us on 9/11
I wonder if Hitler had heard that when he started killing Jews
I wonder if Sadaam Hussein had heard that when he was hiding weapons
I wonder if the terrorists have heard this?
Try talking to them about peace and not war

We understand it, but aren't stupid enough to make a truism our entire reality. No truism is that universal. We were attacked, we are attacking back to prevent them from attacking us again, their stated goal.
Here's a single word for you to see if it has meaning for you:
Survival
