I've yet to find a religion with enough truth in it to make me want to stay--including atheism, which in its current incarnation seems kind of self-congratulatory and intent upon disowning all the instinctive and unreasonable parts of human nature. I grew up nominally Protestant; what I've become is best described as a "freethinker."

conversion is not ceremonial. or just changing the way of dressing , cultivating the good habits. moral values were mentioned in almost all religion. moral books are like a mirror. it can only show what is right or wrong. if you won't follow it will not come and correct you. Christianity is different from Tish. bible is not a moral book. it's word of god having power to transform people.

I change my religion every sun rise and tries to be a wise and better person every day. Try not not to repeat those mistakes of the past. Have faith in GOD who has made all of us and entire world, his justice and not merely in one particular religion. Change yourself to be a good human being and not a muslim, christian, buddhist or hindu.

Some people might use the word 'born-again'.
Muslims will call you a 'revert' ('everyone is born Muslim')
Convert is the most neutral term.
