I'd like to find out how many atheists ever visited churches where the power of the Holy Spirit was at work.
Please, atheists don't come up with definitions of words and stuff. Have you guys witnessed people being healed of cancer in the Name of Jesus, or seen demons manifesting and speaking and asking true Christians not to use the name of Jesus Christ.
Atheists, I am sure you can notice someone who is sick enough he could barely stand up...have you seen such people being healed in the name of Christ...For once guys be truthful and don't dodge questions!
You see, these things I am saying sound fictional or like I got them from a movie, but these are things that Holy Spirit filled Christians see and experience.
I am not talking about the Christianity of hymn books, reading of songs and pious appearances of priest and stuff...
I am talking about real Holy Spirit miracles where you can't but agree with what you see!
Honestly, Please how many visited such churches?

To JT
God is not like some gypsy woman anyone can use to get what he wants without to have a relationship with Him!
God cannot be used like what men of today do, they do not want to commit themselves into marriage but want to enjoy the benefits of a husband without to commitment.
JT, God is too great He loves you but don't think He needs you...If you do not want to seek Him to find out if He is real in such churches...then don't come...but remember, how you made investigations concerning other things! Do the same for yourself.
By the way, many ministers of Holy Spirit visit hospitals and these miracles happen. One elderly woman who was healed of brain cancer in my church still has the x-rayed pictures that showed traces of cancer and the ones that show nothing!
You see, many have never seen these things because the media does not visit our churches.
People want to experience God and just bible reasoning, if you do want God, then visit such churches.

Visit the right churches. If you were in South Africa, I would direct you to churches where you would experience the power of the Holy Spirit. I don't know where you stay.If you really want the truth, you will find it.
To J.T.
Let's agree on one thing...If God does not punish you for your unbelief by the end of next week, then there is no God, if He does then, you must promise to come and preach the gospel on Y! Answers.
I have seen your other remarks in other questions concerning the God of Israel. I am not trying to scare you but He is a dreadful God. You seem to take Him lightly...therefore it is about time He uses you to glorify Himself. You will confess that Jesus is the Lord!

So you came close to the real thing! You still don't believe. How about this then:
By the end of this week, you will have a dream where God will be speaking to you...If it does not happen, then I am lying, but if you do, come and preach the gospel on Y! Answers.Do we have a deal?
Praise the Jesus Christ the true God.He will reveal Himself to you.
It is about time people on Y!Answers experiance miracles and you and J.T are the first preachers of Word of God.Amen

Atheist here. I was raised catholic, attended a Protestant church before becoming agnostic, now I'm atheist.
My best friend belongs to a charismatic group in the catholic church. They usually go to healing mass.
I've seen them speaking in tongues, falling asleep and healing people and casting away the "demon" in some woman. All of this, according to them, "through the holy spirit work". I've even participated in their ceremonies a few times, since my friend like to insist about it, she believes I'll be convert again.
I've seen sick people who get healed, I've never seen a really miraculous healing, like growing arms that were cut in an accident. The kind of healing I've seen are equally as good as those made by shamans, even though shamans do not call the "holy spirit". Shamans spoke in tongues as well. I've seen miraculous healings outside churches. I have no reasons to believe those "diseases" were not psychosomatics, I'd like to see something like growing an arm, healing broken bones in an instant or stuff like that. I've known of some "priests" and "pastors" who have been caught cheating as well, and this has happened worldwide, think of Peter Popoff.
I already saw one person that after being told that she had cancer, she died in 8 days. That person was in time to be healed, since she wasn't in terminal state, yet, she killed herself by her negatives thoughts, that's what psychosomatic stuff is all about.
In other words, I'm leass than impressed. For being the holy spirit's work, his work not only seems to be very "generic", but not impressive at all. Believers were amazed, I'm sure you are amazed with "his works", for me, I disagree, there's nothing "divine" in that. The healings are suspicioulsy psychosomatic in nature.
EDIT:
After reading your other questions, I wonder whether you are serious or not.

What have I seen?
People running and hollering all about the place
People jerking like hell, and claiming god is doing it
People falling backwards, and claiming god is doing it
People claiming one foot grew to the same length of the other
People blabbering and calling it speaking in tongues
People claiming to "interpret" the blabbering
People pretending to be in trances
People running and doing rain dances all over the benches
I have NEVER seen blinded eyes made to see.
I have NEVER seen deaf ears made to hear
I have NEVER seen crippled made to walk aright
I have NEVER seen wheel chair people get up and walk
I have NEVER seen any "miracle" of which you have written.
Simply being honest here.
* It's the end of the week. You lied.

I identify myself as a freethinker/humanist, but I've seen Jesus's footprints before, at the Church of Domine Quo Vadis in Italy. His feet were bigger than mine. The footprints could have been carved into the marble, though--I'm not convinced it's a bona fide miracle!

"God is not like some gypsy woman anyone can use to get what he wants without to have a relationship with Him!"
Did you learn from the chuch how to be a racist and sterotype different people?
You haven't witnessed any Holy spirit miracles yourself and you won't, you're just a man who is in desperate need of a faith in an imaginary force in order to define his life and you managed to convince yourself that these forces exist.

I see what you're saying, but I have a question for you:
Why, in the course of human history, has god never regrown the limbs of an amputee? He seems to routinely cure cancer. Why is there this discrimination against people who have lost their limbs?
Honestly.

I was raised a christian so I've been to several churches in my life, but I have never seen anything like that. I've spoken to many people who say they can do it but they never do when I'm around. Funny, that.

Let's just cut to the chase.
If someone can heal others, why isn't he visiting hospitals and performing his magic?
Who needs to waste time watching charlatans?
