If you've ruled out everything from wierd settings to a faulty battery or memory card - if you're sure that something's broken, you'll have to send it to Canon for a repair. And if it really is the shutter, it'll be an expensive repair. In fact, if the camera is no longer under warenty, pretty much any repair will probably cost you more that the A95 is currently worth ($170).

personally you can't do anything.if there is a problem is with the shutter block.Just drop into any of the service center where they will replace it and give it.

If it is a setting problem switch on the camera press the display button see whether you get the images on the lcd screen.

make sure that is the problem with the shutters because canon has recalled those models for ccd failure. just go through the canon's website and just have look in the notices section.
