i'm allergic to cats my question is why do black cats make me ichier??????

Nothing's wrong with black cats, they're just.....cats! I have a black cat, and I think he's a totally booboo-cutie-pie!!

If you are allergic to cats, you would be allergic to all cats, not just the black ones. Check with you doctor. There must be something else that you are allergic to.

Did you know that it is not the hair on the cat but allergens that are in the cats saliva, point being that long haired cats tend to lick their coats more. Do the black you have trouble with dibble lots? I had a beautiful black cat that used to dibble a lot when he got cuddles. His name was Spook unfortunately he passed away, from exposure to household cleaning products...(vet thinks)...I miss him dearly.

It could be that you notice dandruff more easily on a black cat, and this is triggering your itch because that's what you associate with them.
Are they long haired? Short haired? Do they groom more? Are they outdoor cats?
Many things can affect how you react to different allergens.

black cats therefore do not make anyone more itchier... perhaps you were just unlucky to come across this black cat with god-knows-what in its fur...
but how can you be allergic to cats? do you mean it's fur?

you should kept away from cats if your suffering from asthma one of the cause of asthmatic attack came from cats they said cats cause allergic reaction from asthmatic people

Maybe because they have longer hair which would give you a bigger reaction.
