Just dont choose a cutsie name like fluffy or tiger. Give the poor cat a real name!
Name your cat as though you were naming a kid.
My cats are Barney and Betty
Some of my friends have cats with names like Sammy, Molly, Jasmine, Sally, Fred, Andy and Bud.

One of my cats did not like any name so we just named her "here kitty kitty"Here are some names that I have named my cats:

spider, drist, snoop, ozzie, mystery, Howie, scooter, chester, jasper,or Roo.

We mostly named out cats out of personality.

You didn't mention what color your cat it or if it is male or female.
Some good names are:
Ninja if grey
Blacky or Spook is black
Patches if calico
Tigger if a tiger cat
Pickles if she or he gets into alot of trouble.

How abouty Macabee? It's different, and could be male or female. Or Kitty Wells, or Kitten Carlyle, or Garfield if it is orange.
