Check with this student loan website to see if they will help you with any of the cost.

Also check the Department of Education website for more information on ways to pay for apprenticeship courses.

Modern appreticeships are not looked down upon. I'm an Avionics technician with a modern apprenticeship under my belt and I have found that we are socially looked up at a little. the first answerer seems a bit like an upper class person, they look down at anyone who isn't a doctor or lawyer. Be proud of what you do. If you want an MA, go for it. Good luck!

No. They are not considered as Higher Education Courses eligible for scholarships. However, students are eligible to stipends during the prosecution of some of these courses.

In fact, it is only students who cannot afford to go to colleges arts, science, commerce courses either on account of poor school record or straightened family circumstances that opt for these courses. They are intended to impart the minimum t echnical knowleege necessary for the candidate to take up emloyment and the prospects open also are of middle order e.g technicians, turners, fitter, mechanics etc. They are sociallay looked down upon with the consequence that ssstudents even with a mechanical bent of mind prfer to take up college courses. The main attraction for such courses is that they put the students in a position to start earning early.
