I died my hair a dark brown in December then 5 months later i went to the salon to get it back to blonde. The woman said that she can't do it, its impossible, the only way to do it is to use bleach or peroxide, but thats way to harsh on my hair. so she used a blonde color just to see if my brown would get any lighter and it got only one shade lighter. So now its a medium brown.

it's true. u cant do this from one day to another, only with bleach.die it a light brown now and then again in a month or two, die it a lighter brown. also...with the sun right now your hair will get blonder faster. u just have to fase it out. u can also try blonde streaks too. your hair will look blonder, but not completely blonde. u just have to wait a month or two. trust me...do it this way!

i agree with hairwacker2000. but if u were worried about the condition of your hair u should never have used store color on your hair. {if that is the case] make sure that u recondition your hair with a good salon treatment. u r gonna need protein and moisture most likley.

Lemon juice and sunlight, together, will lighten your hair. Smells good too.
