I have black hair but i want to fade it.. it fades out fast when ive done it before.. ive died it this color twice, but its usually takes time.. what are processes to speed this up?

The only thing that you can do to fade it is to bleach it. But you don't have to use 40 volume developer. 40 volume lifts the hair 4 color levels. You can use a 10 vol to lift 1 color shade 20 for 2 and so on

you can try using a dilute solution of hydrogen peroxide, which is readily available as a disinfectant/antiseptic from your local drugstore.

dilute it in water and apply liberally to your hair, typically with a comb or brush. however, i have been told it will make your hair dry and brittle...
