First, stop giving them free publicity. when they bomb some place keep it out of the news.
terrerists like spoiled children, they thrive on attention.

Second, when they take hostages to demand the release of their leaders we should release them, one .44 cal get out of jail bullet to the back of the head. (an eye for an eye and a death for a death!)

third, don't try to communicate with them; it's not possible, just wipe them out like the pests they are.

Terrorism will never stop, seeing how a new terrorist is born every day. It seems like the entire mid-east are all terrorists, but I know that isn't true. There are a lot of innocence out there, and I feel sorry for every single one of them. I think trying to fix the tyrannic middle-east is a lost cause. I don't know what to think about Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Syria, N. Korea, and all the others I failed to mention. We can't fight everyone at once, that would end in an ever bigger tragedy.

Several things. First: stop being terrorists ourselves. Second: squeeze Israel until they will make a deal everyone can live with, including compensation for Palestinians whose families have been refugees for 58 years. Third, use what remnants there are of secular pan-Arabism to our advantage; quit trying to "democratize" countries whose populations seethe with cutthroat Islamism. Fourth, admit that something smaller and more flexible than an army is the best tool to fight terrorist cells. Fifth, act like a member of the world community.

The quickest way to reduce your feelings of terror is to take action. Yes, it is good to think about what you're doing. Yes, you should try to achieve the most intelligent goals. Yes, you ought to take the time to inform yourself and plan well. But action is ultimately the antidote to fear.

This is not a new discovery. It has been described by many people in many different ways, but you and I need to apply it to the goal of preventing terrorism, and the sooner the better.

The power of changing fear by taking action was recently illustrated in the excellent World War Two series Band of Brothers.

One of the soldiers was paralyzed by fear. His company was under attack and he was huddled in his foxhole, afraid to move. The Nazis were moving in, dead set on destroying him and his fellow soldiers. The company leader came by and got the soldier on his feet and they both started shooting at the Nazis as fast as they could. The soldier was yelling and firing. In that moment of purpose in action, the young soldier was not paralyzed by his fear. He was taking action, and in the action, his fear was channeled into commitment and determination.

And that's the state we're aiming for: Commitment and determination. With more people in the free world in that state, preventing terrorism will be more possible. But of course the question on everyone's mind is What can I do? There is no clear action to take.

That helplessness is what we're trying to overcome on this web site — the feeling that you ought to do something about preventing terrorism, you want to do something, but you don't know what to do. We've got some answers here on CitizenWarrior.com and at the end of this article you'll find the links to get you started.

For you and me, it's not good enough to simply ask the question, What can I do? and then shrug our shoulders and say, I guess, nothing. Not good enough by a long shot. I have read enough survival stories to know that defeatism is a sort of self-fulfilling prophesy. The people who had a low level of determination — the ones who only gave a question ten minutes and then shrugged their shoulders — didn't live to tell their tale. Only the determined ones survived. Only the ones who keep thinking, who don't give up so fast — who assume something can be done and persist until they find something — are the ones who make it, and that's what we need at this important time in history.

The basic first step is to think of a purpose — any purpose — that makes things better, even in a small way.

If you can't think of any purpose to put into action, we have a purpose for you: Find links, articles, ideas, that will help people develop strength and determination or even simply help our readers be better informed about developments. If you come across a good link, please send it our way.

We challenge you to take this on. We will use what you find to help others. This is not a mere gesture. The number of readers of CitizenWarrior.com is climbing. We are promoting it and others have joined in on their own and are promoting it also. What you find and send to us can help many other people, infusing them with commitment and determination, allowing our united purpose to generate good ideas and effective tasks to accomplish, and thus helping us quash the goals of terrorists. Help us out.

I don't think anything can be done unless you can round up every would be terrorist and kill them. These people aren't rational. You can't get through to someone who believes that blowing themselves up in the name of their God is going to make them a martyr and is a noble thing to do. These people's views for terrorism are as strong as ours is against terrorism. I don't think terrorism will ever be erradicated.

put terror in the minds of the terrorists, don't let their souls go to their resting place and others will not want to die for the cause because they will not get to their so called place of heaven!
