No, it's not true. "Going bad" is a function of nature and nurture, and mostly the latter, in my experience. - g^2

Urban myth. Totally untrue. Dogs "go bad" and turn on people when they are teased and tormented and provoked by some fool who thinks he can turn them into an attack dog.
