I would guess that a break in the work week like that might be disruptive in terms of efficiency. Imagine a person travelling on business, spending a week at another facility. The day off in mid-week would be an inefficient use of the company's time.

I suppose that you could lobby for businesses to adopt this type of pattern. As for me, I would prefer going to a 9-day fortnight, where we would get every other Friday off. Three-day weekend make more sense to be then a single day off surrounded by work days.

i would want that too. but in medical line, we dont have such benefit. sad........sobz........
