Trust me when I say this: It's just not worth the trouble. Sure, it can be done, but it's a huge hassle, it can seriously strain a relationship if it doesn't go well, and there are plenty of other girls out there that potentially ARE interested. Just go ahead and be friendly and if something develops, great. If it doesn't you didn't just waste tons of time and effort and just end up annoying someone you were trying to get closer to.
