From Xi'An to Lhasa u can take:
Hainan Airline 8.30 am
China Eastern 12.30 am
Air China 13.20
In my opinion both Hainan and C.Easter are much better than Air China. I did fly with all of them. Hainan airline is based in the special administrative province of Hainan, South China - C.Easter is Shanghai based.
From Xi'An to Chiang Mai I think u need to fly via Chengdu or Guangzhou

I flew from Lhasa to Chendu, then to Xian. It seemed that all we could find for air travel was Air China. The airline is pretty lackluster - but hey... at least it flies. The airline isn't the cream of the crop, but really none are. Air China has flights everywhere in the country, so I'm sure there is a Lhasa to Xian flight.

You should also look into the new rail from Lhasa to Xian. This just opened the past week and is a great option! I just got back from China a few days before or I would have used it myself!

You will have to use a Chinese domestic airline for the trip from Lhasa to Xi'an (or take China's newest train). Not sure about a flight from Xi'an to Thailand (most likely Air China would provide the service)
