I'm trying to make an faq list for my website which covers common misconceptions about atheists so that the members don't have to answer the same questions repeatedly. I've found links online that have helped (It's hard for me to think of the misconceptions myself since they seem rather odd to me) but would like to make sure most of them are covered.

I guess I should have a way to pick best answer...so um, most off the wall myth about atheists (that you've actually heard a theist say) gets the best answer.

ed...geesh, that question you linked in the second edit sure is crazy. I wonder where these people get such weird ideas.

I think you'll find everything you'll need (and more!) here:

It's a truly brilliant site that will give you serious déjà vu if you've been on Y!A a long time now...

Thanks to weemaryanne for pointing it out.

Not a list, but a starting suggestion. I myself am agnostic and find that many people do not know the difference between agnostic and atheist - hence, I suggest to at least start with proper definition of these words along with some of the more common 'theist' examples.
