I am glad to know someone else is going through the same thing iam.....lol...Yes they do bleed when they are in "season" ...and they may do so for up to 3 weeks... you can tell if she in heat by looking at her little tootie...LOL to see if its swollen as funny as it sounds this is how you can tell... yes,dogs bleed when they are in season.As u said it isn't much blood, littli bit drops. But after 3 or 4 days it'll be noamal.

well, yip, that is normal, and it only happens once a year for about a week, so keep her from other dogs, because she is still young and keep her out of the house to keep it clean.
Bath her every second day, so that you can see if she is still on heat.
Your dog has become a women!!!

yes, female dogs bleed. its normal. Her "area" will also swell and become swollen. If you are concerned, call the vet and have her checked out. goodluck.

yes, females dogs do get their period, but i dont think its as regular as women,and yeah its not as heavy as women, its last for a few days too.
