Despite what some might say to make you feel good, the answer is no. You can technically be homosexual and be a Christian, but homosexual relations are a sin. Man was not made to lay with man... they are not compatible. Simple biology helps unravel that myth. For a homosexual to be a Christian, they must accept Jesus as the son of God and their saviour, ask forgiveness for their sins, and repent. Having sex with somebody of the same sex is as much a sin as adultery or murder. Man should strive to not live in sin. People should not give in to their sinful impulses. Therefore, a person may have homosexual urges, but if they do not act on their urges (being an ACTIVE homosexual) and do not commit sin, it is possible to be a Christian.

Honestly, I believe you can be. I myself am not truly christian, found too many contradictory things within the bible, and so I just try to live my life as good as a person I can be. But I do believe that it is a sin in christianity, just as adultery, stealing and so forth.
To me the sins are just to show that ALL OF US ARE FLAWED. Nobody is perfect, and we are all "sinners", not a single person (excluding jesus for those that are religious and take this statement too literally) can say that they have not sinned in their life. So to me it just states that no one is better than anyone else, and we are all the same, in need of the same help, and all need god's love and saving grace if you are christian.
Also, this may be seen as a cheap shot, but priests are also supposed to be some of the closest men to god. But look at the news about how some of them molest young boys. So if a priest is homosexual themselves... and I think it is safe to say that people believe the clergy have a close connection with god, then it is possible to be a christian that is also homosexual.

So far the answers seem positive but I'm sure you'll get allot of anti-gay answers. Many Christians believe that we are all sinners, and therefore gays are no different than straights. However, there are many Christians who will keep a special spot of hatred in their hearts for gays. My personal opinion is that Christianity is a false religion created by men with the intention to control the population. It stems from fear of the authorities that people are naturally evil, and will do bad if given the opportunity. It also uses fear as the medium to control. I'd suggest looking into all religions, and find what fits with you. If you're Gay, and your church makes you feel guilty for being so, don't go there. Find something that fits for you.

I do not think it is. If you are truly Christian and you believe in God and Jesus then you believe in forgiveness of sins but when you make a life decision to be a sinner their is no longer room for forgiveness. If you actually believed in Hell it would not be possible for you to decide to live a gay lifestyle knowing that is where you will end up.

Please call PFLAG. They will get you info or a phone number for someone to talk to.The only way for you to deal with this is to realize that being gay IS NOT a SIN. You need talk to someone you can trust. (For me, realizing I was a lesbian was not a terror filled moment that I was going to burn in hell. I'm an atheist so I must account for my deeds - there's no heaven/hell threat- just was I the best person I could be today? My problem was oops I married a guy.)

Yes, why not? One sin is no greater than another. Liars are Christians, divorcees are Christians. Noone is perfect, or free from sin, just forgiven.
