walk away so easily from things and not look back. that is a talent that i wish i possessed.

Men are not always good at not looking back, they are just better at concealing their emotions. Many of the predominent, and popular conclusions about men is that we don't think....and we have limited emotions. It is also beleived that men naturally have an abundance of confidence, self esteem, and basically any of the things that people like to beleive, comes hard for a woman.
It's not that I never feel like crying, it's that I don't make a big show of it. It's because when I'm at a funeral, I'm strong for my sister and mother. It's not that I don't miss an ex, it's that I have too much pride to let her know that. It's not that my back, shoulder, or hip never hurts...it's because admission of pain is admission of weakness. It's not that I don't want to talk to a pretty girl I see on the street or see in a store...it's that I'm afraid to, and looking away with a stone face is the easiest way to display that I am not afraid.
Men internalize, instead of having a tear jerk session with their friends. Men are men, want to be perceived by others as men, and most of all, see a man when they look in the mirror.

Its a developed character trait. First you dont have that, and then somebody show you that and totally leaves you in the dumps, dying slowly by the day. Then you realize its all not worth it, but its actually just some form of trauma. And you get some phobia. You dont wanna be the one to be left on the dumps anymore. So you develop the talent. Which you will use on others, so that they can develop the talent too.
Pay it forward, as they say. And it works both ways.

It is the curse that God put on Eve after she ate the apple, that from that time on, that her desire would be for her husband and that her sorrow would be multiplied and her husband would rule over her. Women were made to be help mates. Therefore, she becomes uncomfortable when she can no longer "help". That explains why females are always looking back long after males have given up on a situation and walked away.
The main curse on Adam was for him to work hard to get food and that farming would be very difficult for him. See Genesis 3:16-18.

Because men have a stonier heart than women i guess i mean they got a reputation to keep. They get hurt just as badly as us but they got different ways of dealing with it. they drink, or they fight, or things like that i guess it is all in the way that society portrays that men are supposed to be. I mean in societys standards men are supposed to be the touch ones the protectors and women are supposed to be the weaker submissive ones and that is why men dont have such a problem playing things off and it is easier for them to walk away.

Why can men walk away so easily...... what are we supposed to be doing? It doesnt make sense to look back- why should we?
Maybe some of you, or actually most of you women ought to get your minds right and look to do the same-- you get on my damn nerves with some of this nonsense

coz they learn as a kid not to show too much emotion. just coz they're walkin away dont mean they not hating themselves as they do it. there are things i wish i could walk away from, ppl i wish i could forget but sometimes u just have to put things at the back of ur mind until they go away. (still working on this theory)

Ther not as emotional as a girl and they always hold it in when theyre upset because they dont want to be a cry baby. Some hold it in util they go home and cry but they wont let you know that they care ecause they want to seem all strong and tough.. Ha ha ha ha! i wanted to ask the same thing today.

Because women are cursed with the nurture trait. We think of how our actions affect others. Men are cursed with the selfish trait, they think of how other affect them. AAAANNNDDD, they(men) are also very good at blaming everyone else for why they do what they do..ie I messed off on you because you wore that dress I don't like, or I lied to you becuase YOU are too emotional....It is always easier when you think that it is somebody elses fault.

It is not that a man CAN walk away so easily and not look back, it is because, he MUST walk away, and MUST not look back, or the pain will be unbearable.
