I have come upon a WWII Dog Tag. I have checked its authenticity, it is in fact the real deal.

However, What do I do to find the person the Tags go to?

I don't feel right about holding on to them because I know the importance that the Tags hold.

If this also means a lot to you, please help me unite what someone has lost and would very much appreciate having back.

There are websites for vets and you can also put them in your local paper. If you have a veterens hall I am sure they can help you too. You are so sweet to want to help.. good luck.

A very nice sincere and appreciable gesture at your part.
May God help you succeed in locating the correct/genuine owner of the Tags.
Take a photo, throw it in the local press, club or charity halls etc. for info of all veterans.
God bless you!!!
