I truly believe the only way to have our voices heard is to speak very loudly. Hold protests, write editorials, and so on. Peace is an option, regardless of opinion about "human nature". It must be a choice, and it must be chosen by the vast majority of the population. The key is convincing them that there is an alternative to greed and warfare.

Give war a chance. Sometimes the only way to peace is through victory. It worked on Japan. The Japanese brutally killed 50 million Chinese and Indonesians in the '30s. This mindset was only wiped out through the strongest military message ever sent out short of God's method of total annihilation.
