Seriously, I went over to the UK back in 2000 and there was SO much to choose from. My personal fav. was Scrumpy Jack. American cider is a bit too sweet for me. Though I did find a place around here that sells Strongbow and thats tasty. Any others you recomend? I've had Woodchuck, Ace, Strongbow, K, and one other I can't think of right now.

When I started experimenting with alcohol I used to like to have a couple "Hard Jack" brand ciders.. One night I drank the whole 6 pack within a couple hours. That is the only time I have EVER seen double...! The next morning was one of the worst hangovers I have ever had... :( Heck with the cider.. GIVE ME THE JACK!

I just recently started drinking cider. The Woodchuck is the best I can think of. I went to a "Bier Garden" in NC a few weeks ago and had a great cider there.. I can't remember the name of it. I told them "give me your best cider, I guess the one on tap". haha

I guess my preference is the Woodchuck.

You should brew you own. Much more satisfying to drink a robotz1001001 cider beverage that a bottled cider. Robotz1001001 probably gives a better buzz too.

In America the cider is pasteurized which homogenizes the taste to a great extent.

If you want to make your own go to: www.leeners.com/cider.html

Go to a specialty beer store to find micro-brew cider to your taste.

Have you tried Hornsby's? I recommend the green apple over the amber. In my opinion it is better than Woodchuck.
