Well, you can just try to put some extra interest to your conversations with him...be more sensitive...make more eye contact...

maybe u can try inviting him to ur house for anything then make him sit on the couch, go inside and then come out naked or in a nice sexy lingerie. That will hint him for sure.

no, really tho, tell him how u feel... the worse he can say is that he can't return ur feelings and then u can find someone else... and if he says he wants to see what happens and wants to be with u...well, the longer u wait the more time u lose that could be spent with him!

us guys dont get hints...tell him. if that doesnt work, dont contact him for a week. he will call you but dont answer. see how he reacts after that. if he is angry with you, then he likes you too ;-) then you ask him why he is upset. If he tells you he likes you too then you have turned the tables on him and you didnt have to tell him nothing.

Telling him formally is the best way.
There are many ways... cards, mails.. small stuffed gifts..etc.. etc..slip notes... verbal ways.. etc..
trying any of them.. you will get it out..
first keep speaking with him..try spending a lot more time.
try looking into his eyes.. for long time...
may be hold his hands..he will be surprised.. them.. tel him..so.
